Privacy policy

This page describes how the personal data of visitors to this website is processed, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

LAST UPDATED: OCTOBER 2026

Data controller

Gabriele Fiorucci — Brescia, Italy.

For any request regarding your personal data, write to info@fioruccilabs.com.

Data processed

Browsing data: while you use the site, the hosting infrastructure automatically collects some technical data, such as IP address, browser and operating system, date and time of the request and page visited. This data is not used to identify you.

Data you provide: if you email me, including through the form on the Contact page, I process your name, email address and the content of your message.

Purposes and legal basis

Ensuring the operation and security of the site and protecting it from abuse and cyber attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Replying to messages and handling collaboration requests. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest in following up on contacts (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Contact form

The form on the Contact page does not send or store data on any server: pressing "Send" opens your email app with the message ready, and you decide whether to send it. Data reaches the controller only as a regular email.

Providing your data is optional, but without it you cannot receive a reply.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use third-party profiling, marketing or analytics cookies.

The hosting provider may set strictly necessary technical cookies for security (for example, to tell legitimate traffic from automated traffic). For the duration of your visit only, your browser keeps a technical flag (sessionStorage) so the opening animation isn't repeated on every page. As these are technical tools, no consent is required (Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code and Italian DPA Guidelines of 10 June 2021).

Providers and recipients

Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery network (CDN), DNS and forwarding of email sent to @fioruccilabs.com addresses (Email Routing), without storing its content. It acts as data processor for browsing data and forwarded email.

Google LLC — email service where messages are received and managed.

Data is never sold, transferred or disclosed to third parties for their own purposes.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Both participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, found adequate by the European Commission on 10 July 2023, and use Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Browsing data is kept by the hosting provider only as long as needed for security purposes, usually a few days.

Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a working relationship follows.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@fioruccilabs.com. You will receive a reply within 30 days.

If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the supervisory authority of your country.

Changes

This policy may be updated, for example when new services are added or regulations change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
